Redirecting A Domain in cPanel/Plesk

Redirect in CPanel:

To redirect a domain in cPanel, follow the given steps:

  1. Login to cPanel and click on the Redirects icon under the domains section.
  2. Select 301 Redirect as these are preferred by searched engines.
  3. Select the specific domain.
  4. In the redirects to blank, type the new address to which this domain will redirect.
  5. Select Redirect with or without www.
  6. Click the Add Button. Your redirect has been successfully configured.

Redirect in Plesk 10:

To redirect a domain in plesk 10, follow the given steps:

  1. Click the websites and domains tab and click on add new domain.
  2. In domain name box, type the domain registered.
  3. Select hosting type as forwarding
  4. Type the destination address.
  5. Choose standard or frame redirection according to requirement. Your domain redirect has been configured.

Redirect in Plesk 9:

To redirect a domain in plesk 9, follow the given steps:

  1. Click on create domain.
  2. Write the domain registered by you.
  3. Select hosting type as forwarding.
  4. Type the destination address.
  5. Choose standard or frame redirection according to your requirement
  6. The redirection has been set.
